NEWS  Belarus wants to boost strategic partnership with Vietnam 14:45, 01/02/2007 Belarus attaches importance to consolidating and developing strategic partnership relations with Vietnam, especially in trade and economy. Belorussian Deputy Foreign Minister Victor Gaisenok made the affirmation on January 24 at a reception held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Minsk to celebrate the 15th Vietnam-Belarus diplomatic ties anniversary. The Deputy Foreign Minister also highlighted cooperation achievements since the two countries established diplomatic relations. Ambassador Vu Xuan Ninh expressed his thanks to the Belorusian people for their great support assistance during Vietnam`s struggles for independence as well as their cooperation in the country`s reconstruction.
