Oleg Korban has been detained by the KGB 17:55, 05/02/2007
Oleg Korban’s relatives informed the Radio Svaboda that the young man had been detained at the KGB prison. Location of the Malady Front member Zmitser Fedaruk is unknown. His co-members do not exclude that he has also been imprisoned at the same place. But they do not lose hope and keep on duty at the Savetsky district court of Minsk.
Yesterday militiamen detained around 30 activists of the Malady Front during the seating of the central council of the organization. Then everybody but Zmitser Fedaruk was released. Oleg Korban was detained at his apartment when he was celebrating his birthday.
The youth activists consider that the lawsuit may be brought against Korban and Fedaruk for participation in the unregistered organization. It is to be mentioned, that it is for that reason that Zmitser Dashkevitch was sentenced for 1,5 years imprisonment. Four activists of the “Partnyorstvo” company of election watchers have already passed the term of imprisonment for the same reason.
