Prime minister of Belarus Syargei Sidorsky considers it effective to calculate the budget for 2-3 years. ”Under conditions of market economy it is reasonable to work out a multiannual budget for two or three years”, S. Sidorsky declared at the board meeting of the ministry of finance of Belarus.
He also regards it essential to start considering the budget earlier, for example, in May. “Maybe, let us work at the budget not in November or December, as we used to, but in May”, S.Sidorsky offered.
According to the prime minister, the 2008 budget value is to be incremented by 51-20%.”Now we are working at the budget for 2008 and its increment will comprise 15-20 %”, told S. Sidorsky.
In general, the prime minister positively estimated the work of the ministry of finance on the budget implementation mentioning that during two subsequent years the budget had been implemented with proficit, Interfax reports.
