NEWS  Former Culture Minister Appointed New Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus 12:23, 07/02/2007 President Viktor Yushchenko has appointed Ihor Likhovoy Ukraine’s Ambassador to Belarus. As the “Ukrainskie Novosti” inform, it has been stated in the presidential Decree No.80/2007 of February 6. The Decree states: “Ihor Likhovoy is appointed Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Belarus”. On May 29, 2006 Viktar Yushchenko relieved Valentin Nalivajchenko of his duties of Ukrainian Ambassador to Belarus.
