Transfer of Beltransgaz to Russia is facing problems 16:44, 08/02/2007
The process of creation of the Belarusian-Russian joint venture on the basis of the “Beltransgaz” Joint-Stock company can’t go on without problems. This information was given by general manager of Beltransgaz Dzmitri Kazakou to the BELTA correspondent. ”But it is natural because such global project is being implemented in Belarus for the first time”, Dzmitri Kazakou explained.
“Now it is the state committee on property that has to do the main job. Its experts are drawing up the regulatory documents, sale contract. Everything is going on according to the plan”, Dzmitri Kazakou pointed out.
It is to be mentioned, that Belarus and Russia signed the protocol of joint venture foundation on the basis of Beltransgaz. In compliance with the protocol, Gazprom is to buy 50% share of Beltransgaz. Until June 1, 2007 Beltransgaz and Gazprom are to set up the joint venture. Head of Beltransgaz expressed hope that everything would be done in due time.
