NEWS  “BPF Youth” Activist Acquitted By Court 18:10, 09/02/2007 Today the court of Frunzenski district of Minsk has acquitted an activist of the Belarusian Popular Front party’s youth branch (“The BPF Youth”, or “Moladz BNF”) Nasta Aleksandrovich. The girl was detained by KGB officers on January 12, in the run-up to local election, and taken to the police department of Frunzenski district of Minsk. Nasta was charged with petty hooliganism and kept for 3 days in the detention center in Akrestsin Street. On January 16 the court was rescheduled for February 9.
