The meeting of entrepreneurs is to be held in Grodno 25 March. Activists of the political forces are expected to join the meeting. This was reported by the entrepreneurs’ strike committee leader Valeri Levaneusky to BelaPAN. “The agreement on participation in the meeting was reached with representatives of the United Civil Party 27 February and 26 February- with supporters of Alyaksandr Milinkevich”, Levaneusky said.
According to him, all the organizational issues are to be agreed upon 2 March and then a corresponding application is to be submitted to the City Executive Committee.
“The Grodno entrepreneurs are very politically active. That is why the slogans at the meeting will be not only for the entrepreneurs’ rights but also for democracy, freedom of word and meetings in Belarus. Social issues are also to be raised during the meeting, for example, increased communal payments”, Levaneusky told. According to him, the majority of Grodno entrepreneurs are going to participate in the action.
“We even organized polling of the entrepreneurs in the city markets-over 60 % of them supported the meeting”, the leader of strike committee told.
