NEWS  Navumau left for New-York 16:46, 05/03/2007 Minister for internal affairs of Belarus Uladzimir Navumau left for New-York where the international conference on human trafficking is starting today. It is to be mentioned, that the representatives of democratic forces sent a letter to the General Secretary of the UNO calling for preventing Navumau’s participation in the conference. The authors of the letter declared that as stipulated in the report and resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) U. Navumau ”is suspected in dealing with kidnapping” of the well-known public figures and is among those Belarusian officials who have been banned to enter the countries of the European Union and the USA.
