25 March BRUY to Arrange Festivå Actions «For Independent Belarus» 15:06, 22/03/2007
A number of mass cultural events are to take place in the frame of the republican social patriotic action ”For Independent Belarus” in Minsk 25 March. That was announced to BelaPAN by the press-service of the Minsk Executive Committee.
The concert of musical groups, individual singers and dancers is going to be held and the trade fair is going to be settled near the National Library at 12a.m.25 March.
The youth festival of street arts will take place at the “Minsk-1” airport within the frame of the action.
According to deputy head of the ideology department of the Minsk Executive Committee Uladzimir Zubrik, it was the Belarusian Republican Union of Youth that initiated and organized the action and the department of youth activities of the Minsk Executive Committee was its co-organizer.
It is to be mentioned that 25 March the democrats are going to hold the mass action-the Day of Freedom-in the Kastrichnitskaya Square dedicated to the 89th anniversary of the Belarusian People’s Republic.
