Belarusian Association of Journalists Invited to Work on Draft Law on Information 16:23, 04/04/2007
On April 2 a non-governmental organisation “Belarusian Association of Journalists” received a text of the draft law “On Information, Informatization and Protection of Information” as an answer to an inquiry to the so-called Belarusian parliament. “In case of interest we also invite you to take part in follow-on revision of this draft document as a part of a working group,” informed a covering letter signed by the chairman of a standing committee of the “chamber of representatives” on industry, fuel and energetic complex, transport, communications and entrepreneurship Anatol Paulovich.
Lawyers of the Center of Legal defence of mass media of the BAJ are to prepare their suggestions and notes for the draft statement before April 15, the press-service of the Belarusian Association of Journalists informs.
