Zmitser Dashkevich’s Working Day Lasts 10 Hours 12:13, 09/04/2007
As we have informed, the leader of the Young Front Zmitser Dashkevich who is serving a sentence in a colony in Shklou, had been transferred to heavy physical work. His contacts with other prisoners are limited. In the last letter home Zmitser gave some details.
“I’m lacking energy to write about my working day. There is absolutely nothing interesting in it. I get up at 6 a.m., work from 8 a.m. to 18 p.m., and at 10 p.m. we go to sleep. When I feel absolutely done it, I go to bed earlier,” Zmitser Dashkevich wrote, Radio Svaboda.
As we have informed, Zmitser Dashkevich had been sentenced to a year and a half of imprisonment for “activities on behalf of an unregistered organization”.
