NEWS  Lukashenka Gives Press Conference 10:17, 12/04/2007 On April 12 Alyaksandr Lukashenka is to carry out a press-conference for Belarusian mass media. During the meeting with the press he is to touch upon “urgent problems of Belarusian society development, of economy, foreign policy, and to express his opinion about global issues”, official sources inform with the reference to Presidential administration. Every year A. Lukashenka holds large press-conferences for Russian regional mass media, and once a year he meets with heads of leading Belarusian mass media. The press-conference is to take place in the building of the National library. It is supposed that it would be broadcast by the First National Radio Channel.
