BPF Youth Congratulates Minsk Dwellers with day (Photo)
15:46, 13/04/2007

The Belarusian Popular Front Youth has marked Cosmonautics Day. First the rally was planned on the ground near the entrance to Kamarouski market. But at 6 p.m. that place was cordoned off by policemen. A decision was made to hold the rally in another place, near the entrance to “Impuls” shopping center.

A member of the organization Belarusian Popular Front Youth Andrus Ihnatovich dressed as a “flying saucer” congratulated passer-by with the holiday and handed out humorous leaflets “An address to a Belarusian from a Martian. We are for cooperation with a European Belarus” and “An address to a Belarusian from a Martian. We know language of your nation and congratulate you on Cosmonautics Day”.

About 10 people of the BPFY members handed out leaflets as well. The action lasted for 15 minutes. Then policemen asked participants to disband. Policemen copied passport details of Andrus Ihnatovich. Nobody was detained.
