Belorusneft concludes annual contract with Polish Gas
13:05, 14/04/2007

The production association Belorusneft has concluded an annual agreement for sale of 5,000 tons of liquefied gas monthly with Polish Gas, deputy director general of the Belarusian company Vladimir Tretyakov told BelTA.

According to him, the company has a terminal in the town of Svisloch of Grodno oblast. “If earlier the gas was delivered to the destination station in Poland now the gas is loaded to Polish carriages in Belarus,” Vladimir Tretyakov said. In line with the contract, 5,000 tons of liquefied gas will be sold at a price recalculated every month. The contract is valid from March this year to March next year.

Vladimir Tretyakov also reported that now a permanent warehouse is being constructed at the Belarusian terminal. It will be put in operation in 2008. According to Vladimir Tretyakov, “this will enable to transit up to 9,000 tons of gas instead of 5,000 tons” and render services to other companies transiting gas to Poland, in particular to Mozyr Oil Refinery and Russian oil refineries.
