MIA got offended that the “ñhamber” had not been invited to the PACE
18:09, 18/04/2007

“Currently we are establishing pragmatic relations with the Council of Europe on the aspects of mutual interest, both at the parliamentary level and at the level of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. The dialogue of the Council of Europe with Belarus is to be established on a well-balanced basis with consideration of the opinions and viewpoints of our country authorities”, ministry for foreign affairs spokesman Andrei Papou replied to the journalists attempt of determining the perspectives for development of relations between Belarus and the Council of Europe.

Papou didn’t particularize what aspects were to fill in the” well-balanced dialogue”, the AFN reports. Actually, is not necessary, especially if taking into account that this message of the international political body does not look like a ”question-answer” but like a response of the Belarusian propagandist machine to the last week’s visit of opposition leaders A.Lyabedzka and A. Milinkevich to Brussels for participation in the sitting of the sub-committee on Belarus in the framework of the spring session of the PACE. Representatives of the non-legitimate “parliament“ were not invited to the session.
