Belarus Discusses Cooperation with China in Nuclear Energy Sphere :: Charter'97 :: News

As the press-service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry informs, on April 16 during the first day Uladzimir Syamashk’s visit to the People’s Republic of China the prime minister held negotiations with the chairman of the China National Nuclear Corporation and a chairman of the board of directors of a technology group company “Tung Yung”.

Issues of creation of a legal framework for development of cooperation in the sphere of peaceful use of nuclear power, and for realization of the major investment projects (reconstruction of thermal power plant, construction of coal power stations and so on). On the same day a meeting of the Belarusian delegation head and a deputy minister of foreign affairs of China Dai Bingguo.

On April 17 the first deputy prime minister held negotiations with heads of companies “Yungchen” and “Tsyanhoai engine” on issues of “Belarus” tractor assembling enterprise, and with leadership of a China energy equipment corporation on issues of energy projects realization in Belarus.
