Sivakou is asked to the court again

The lawsuit on the claim of member of the Soim of the BPF Party Valyantsina Svyatskaya against former minister for internal affairs Yuri Sivakou is to be continued. The lawsuit is to be heard at the Minsk city court next week the hearing is appointed 23 April at 11 a.m.

20 March the hearing of the lawsuit on the claim of Valyantsina Svyatskaya against former minister for internal affairs Yuri Sivakou was held at the Frunzensky district court of Minsk.
Valyantsina Svyatskaya claimed that Yuri Sivakou’s article in the “Honor”-“Journal of Special Designation” offended her honor and dignity. Svyatskaya claimed rebating of her moral damage by making the defendant pay her 60 million rubles.

In the mentioned article the General quotes a large paragraph from ”Code of officer’s honor” written by Adolf Hitler”. According to Mr. Sivakou, " despite of the odious nature of that man some of his statements are worth to be thought over”

The Frunzensky district court of Minsk rejected the claim of V. Svyatskaya against General Sivakou. The decision was motivated by the fact that the article was written in a form of an essay.

Valyantsina Svyatskaya appealed the decision in the Minsk city court.

It is to be mentioned that Yuri Sivakou is suspected by the world community of participating in the disappearance of the oppositional politicians.
