Profitability of fuel industry decreased 6 times 12:19, 19/04/2007
Profitability of the sold output of the fuel industry in January-February decreased 6 times from 34.6 % to 5.7% in comparison with January-February last year. That was reported by the ministry of statistics and analysis of Belarus. It is one of the lowest profitability indicators among the industries of the republic.
Profitability of sales also decreased 5.6.times from 21.8% to 3.9%.
The share of unprofitable enterprises of the industry was at the level of 52.8% thus showing the 30.6% annual increase, the BelaPAN reports.
Outstanding credit accounts payable totaled Br 7.6 billion as of 1 March. This indicator deteriorated over the month by 29%. The accounts payable comprised Br. 37.8 billion thus showing the monthly increase of 12.5%.
Belarusian enterprises of the fuel industry decreased the volume of their output by 0.6% in the first quarter as compared to the first quarter of 2006 and reached Br 3 billion 391.9 million.
