Warehouses piled high with goods 13:12, 23/04/2007
According to the ministry for statistics and analysis of Belarus the highest among all the industries indicator of the output stock was fixed in the light industry. As of 1 April it comprised Br 239.3 billion or 130.7% to the average monthly output volume of the industry. The indicator for March decreased by 1%.
The output volume of the light industry increased by 4.3% over the January-March period thus totaling Br 815.1 billion in comparative prices. The output volume growth took place in the major types of goods, the BelaPAN reports.
Profitability of the sold output, goods and services, for January-February comprised 5.3%(for January-February 2006 it was 4.7%), and profitability of sales accounted for 4.5%(3.9%).
Outstanding accounts payable comprised Br 239.4 billion as of 1 March 2007 thus showing 1.4% monthly growth, accounts receivable, correspondingly, comprised Br 95.9billion (decreased by 1.6%).
