Democrats signed the agreement on the Congress 14:58, 24/04/2007
At the seating of the Political Council of the United Democratic Forces which was held 23 April in Minsk the coalition members signed the agreement of the United Democratic Forces on preparation and convening of the Congress of Democratic Forces.
Furthermore, the ballot for secret voting was approved; the voting is to be held at the regional meetings of the Congress delegates.
5 issues are to be included into the ballot: on the status and election of chairman and co-chairmen of the Political Council ;on Political Council and its Presidium structure and membership; on authorities of the Presidium of the Political Council. The organizing committee of the Congress will count the votes on these issues. The Agenda of the Congress is to be drafted in compliance with the results of the voting at the regional meetings, the press service of the United Civil Party reported.
It is to be mentioned that the Congress is going to be held 26-27 May.
