The department of culture of the Minsk executive committee advised organizers of the “Krama” group concert to turn to the higher instance – to the ministry of culture or to ideological department of the President’s Administration for getting the permission for the concert. That was reported to the BelaPAN by concert organizer Pavel Kashirin.
It is to be mentioned that the application for the “Krama” group concert dedicated to the recently issued new album of the group was submitted to the department of culture of the Minsk executive committee 15 March. According to Pavel Kashirin the “concert was neither permitted nor prohibited”. The organizers of the concert that was due in the middle of May are going to appeal to the above-mentioned structures.
The work on the new album of the group “Krama” has been practically completed. Leader of the Russian group ”Blues League” Nikolai Arutyunov who participated in recording of the album, leader of the “Crossroads” group Sergey Voronov, Minsk musicians are to be invited for the concert.
It is to be mentioned that the “Krama” group concert dedicated to launching of the first official collection of the best of Krama ” Budz Razam z Nami”(Come on with us) was turned down. The concert organizers were refused of the tour ID.
The “Krama” group is a constant participant of the events held by the opposition. The musicians participated in a number of concerts including the “Jeans Fest” For Freedom!” which was held in Minsk 16 September 2006.
