Responding to the coming annulment of the transportation allowance the Belarusian youth arranges a bike ride along the streets of Minsk, the Young Front invites the students on 23 May, the day of consideration of the issue of preferences annulment at the “house of representatives”, to travel in Minsk only by bicycles, roller-skates and skate-boards.
“Annulment of the transportation allowance makes the Belarusian youth travel in the city on foot or by their private transport that is not available with the majority of students. And for paying the full fee we will have to cut sufficiently other expenses. Can you imagine that one third of the students’ stipend will be spent on the monthly ticket? 23 May manifest your protest, go on a ride!“, it is said in the appeal.
