Katsyarina Sadouskaya: “I used Lukashenka’s statements that he likes Hitler’s policy” 18:04, 28/05/2007 Now Katsayrina Sadouskaya is at home alone. Several days before her release her husband was hospitalized. During her imprisonment the 60-year-old woman was operated on the second time. Her cancer tumor was extracted. When in prison Katsyarina Sadouskaya got the cable informing about her mother’s death. Katsyrina told the Radio Svaboda that recently the head of prison called her to her office and asked her to submit the application that she regretted her action. It is to be mentioned that when searching her the KGB officials found the letter in which Katsyarina Sadouskaya called Lukashenka the “ monster”. That was considered as an insult of Alyaksandr Lukashenka. 25 August the rights’ defender was kept at the psychiatric clinics, and since 21 September –at the isolation ward. The administration of the prison asked the woman to mention in her application that she would never make offending statements about the head of the state and authorities. Katsyarina Sadouskaya made that her own way. “I wrote that I pleaded guilty of using the Lukashenka’s statement of his liking the Hitler’s policy. As far as his ruling the criminal authorities is concerned he said that he was reported that 3000 criminal had voted for him. For example he said, “ Well, Schavlik didn’t behave himself properly. Where is Schavlik now? Go and look for him”. I wrote that I would not offend the President if he doesn’t disgrace himself. The head of the jail jumped up and started shouting, “What’s so bad about Hitler? At least he “ disciplined” the whole Europe! Even her subordinates were shocked”, Katsyarina Sadouskaya reported. Despite of that the administration sent the papers to the court for Katsyarina Sadouskaya’s ahead-of-scale release on probation. “It was obvious that everything was done in a hurry for turning me out of jail as soon as possible”, the woman reported. Katsyarina Sadouskaya is sure that not all her letters were forwarded to her. She remembered that on 8March she received the parcel from Poland. The parcel was shown to the woman but they didn’t hand it to her saying the they would forward it to her husband. Finally, the disabled husband was obliged to come to the isolation ward in Valadarsky Street for the parcel. Katsyarina Sadouskaya knew that thousands of people expressed their solidarity with her. She said that for her it was a strong support.
