Yesterday Lukashenka made a number of sensational statements. Addressing the delegation of Sibir Federal district of Russia headed by the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexandr Khloponin he said: “Why the treaty on the formation the union state is in fact being denunciated at present?” To support this statement he mentioned the situation with deliveries of Belarusian meat and sugar to Russia, and deliveries of Russian oil and gas to Belarus. The Belarusian leader asked: “Why does Russia buy sugar from somebody else, and blocks deliveries of Belarusian sugar, while it had been promised to buy beet-root sugar?” He is not satisfied with the situation in deliveries of Belarusian meat to Russia. Their volume is dropping as well. “You know, they say that we are exporting wrong meat!” he said indignantly.
