At today’s court trial a state prosecutor has demanded to sentence a public activist Kanstantsin Lukashou to two years of conditional term. The Charter’97 press-center has been informed about that by a human rights activist Valery Shchukin. The sentence is to be pronounced tomorrow at 10.30 a.m.

10 July in the course of the trial on Kanstantsin Lukashou’s case victimized militiaman Anatol Suschenya refused his material claims against Lukashou. That was reported to BelaPAN by K. Lukashou’s brotherVyachaslau Siuchik. According to him, the refusal was declared by Anatol Suschenya during the trial on 10 July.

Belarus’ international assets evaluated in the IMF method grew with $ 961.3mln, or 69.5 per cent, in January-June 2007, reaching $ 2 344,2bln, with the increase of $ 624.5mln, or 36.3 per cent, in June. Evaluated in the national method, the international assets increased with $ 1 188,8bln, or 67.8 per cent, making up $ 2 942,1bln, with the growth of $ 717.9 mln, or 32.2 per cent, in June.

“Kryvavy Sakavik” (“Bleeding March”) is the result of the band’s work of one year, which contains 20 new tracks. The album indicates a new level of the Belarusian hip-hop and in the country’s music in general. The instrumentals were provided by one of Poland’s best rap composers DJ Spox. The themes touched in the lyrics are various yet hot. The amount of band member grew to 4 MC (Krou, Realize, Zeman, Jaycop). Artists from three countries took part in the producing of the album - TARTAK from Ukraine; Struch/UmBriaco from Russia; Duze Pe from Poland.

The official Belarusian delegation remained dissatisfied with the adopted OSCE Parliamentary Assembly resolution on Belarus. The “house of representatives” deputy Mikhail Orda already announced yesterday to BelaPAN that the two heterogeneous issues (energy security and Belarusian issue) raised in one report contradict “logics and common sense”. According to him, many other parliamentarians are of the same opinion .The Belarusian party was supported by Ukrainians, Greeks, Italians and Swiss.

On July 9 an investigator of the main directorate of preliminary investigation of the Belarusian Internal Affairs Ministry has filed a charge against a senior official of the Presidential Administration, a first deputy the ideology department head, a head of ideology work coordination department Uladzimir Kholad. The BelaPAN has been informed about that by the Interior ministry of the country.
