For a year and half spent in prison A. Kazulin lost 40 kilograms .Now he is putting on some wait. ”Now the father weighs 85 kilograms .He is rather thin but looks not bad” says the political prisoner’s daughter.

The pressing come from the prison’s authorities. Other prisoners are prohibited to communicate with him. And that is not even being concealed – it is prohibited, point. The father even does not have anyone to play table tennis with in his free time. Everyone there is afraid of communicating with him”, Volga Kazulina remarks.

The policymaker’s daughter confirmed the information recently distributed by the mass media that the officer from the prison’s upper management had attempted the Kazulin’s beating. “That happened when the father was coming out of his hunger strike. That officer, head of the group, raised his hand at the father but the father managed to escape. The physical threatening was attempted when he was very weak, very lean and hardly moved. And he was applied such measures to…They say, that the prison is the reflection of things happening in the state. I absolutely agree with this statement.

Volga Kazulina also remarks how accurately she and her sister were searched before being guarded to prison. ”They were going to ban me see the father because they had found Br 15 thousand( around USD7.5)in my purse .I simply forgot to take the money out of the purse…I tried to explain that if I had intended to carry the money to him I would not have kept it in the purse. And finally they made me undress completely! That is simply outrageous…” the girl tells.

According to the policymaker’s daughter, Alyaksandr Kazulin doesn’t exclude that he may be released in the near future. “On the one hand the father understands that Lukashenka may be very revengeful and he might spend all his 5.5.years in prison, but on the other hand, the father believes that everything is in the hands of God and that sooner or later the changes will happen in the country”, Volga Kazulina says.

Political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin managed to spend three days with his daughters in prison.
