NEWS  Lukashenka committed KGB to internal troops’ honorary commander’s trust 18:30, 17/07/2007 By his decree Alyaksandr Lukashenka removed the Chairman of the KGB (State Security Committee) of the Republic of Belarus lieutenant general Stsyapan Sukharenka and the First deputy of the KGB Chairman major general Vasil Dzemyantesei. In the 1990ies Zhadobin served at command spots in the system of civil defense of Belarus and in the Internal Ministry internal troops. Before being appointed to the security service of the president, he occupied a position of a deputy minister of the Internal Affairs, a Commander of the internal troops. Today Yury Zhadobin is an honorary commander of the internal troops. As it turned out, such a position exists now.
