NEWS  Radioactive brick detained on the border 17:37, 18/07/2007 At the “Kazlovichi” checkpoint on the Belarusian-Polish border the “Scania” lorry was detained. As the BelaPAN has been informed at the State Committee of Border Guarding Forces ,this night when completing the entrance formalities of the auto caravan transporting fireproof brick from Germany to Russia the 1.5 times increase of the background radiation was registered. The lorry was removed from the general traffic to the penalty parking lot. The incident was reported to the ministry for emergency situations and atomic industry monitoring committee.
