In January-May an adverse balance in foreign trade has formed in Belarus. It is 1 billion 450.7 mln dollars, Statistics and Analysis Ministry informs. The balance for the analogous period of the last year was 781.3 mln dollars.

Minsk city executive committee haven’t sanctioned holding pickets of solidarity with a political prisoner, chairman of the Belarusian Social Democratic party (Hramada) Alyaksandr Kazulin in the Park of Peoples’ Friendship. Pickets had been planned to take place on July 21-31. In order to get a permission, applicants asked to give them a permission for the same place where picketing was held last year.

The Polish National TV management has officially adopted a new satellite channel for Belarus “Belsat”. That was required for completing the formalities and starting broadcasting. According to the channel’s representative, the Belsat is to start broadcasting this November. Now the preparation of personnel and hardware is being underway.
