Motor rally of Solidarity stopped by traffic police 16:47, 19/07/2007
Traffic police stopped a motorcade which is taking part in a motor rally of solidarity through different cities in which criminal actions had been brought up against Young Front activists for participation in an unregistered organization.
It happened right after they left Minsk, in Brest high road near a motel. Traffic policemen took driving license from drivers and forced them to go to the police department of the town of Dzyarzhynsk. At the moment cars of Young Front members escorted by traffic police are on their way to Dzyarzhynsk, Radio Svaboda informs.
As we have informed, today four cars departed in the direction of Baranavichy from Minsk Druzhnaya coach terminal. 20 young front members traveled in them. Other cars had been planned to join them along the way. Even at the coach terminal in the moment when participants gathered, representatives of Minsk police and KGB officers were at the station.
