Gazeta Wyborcha «Foundation of the “party of power” is manifestation of weaknes» :: Charter'97 :: News

The Polish” Gazeta Wyborcha” writes today about two public movements of Belarus, “Belaya Rus” and “For Freedom”: Belarusians are to be made to enter the former and the latter has not even been registered.

The Gazeta Wyborcza writes that the head of Belarus authorities intend to turn the“Belaya Rus” public which structures have already been forcedly created into the “party of power” the Radio Svaboda reports.

“The paper was sent to our school advising on a definite number of teachers to join the organization. The director said the if I didn’t sign the application I would say”good-by” to my job”, the Polish daily quotes one of the teachers of a rural school of the Hrodna region.
