Pickets in support of Kazulin to be held in Navapolatsk :: Charter'97 :: News

As of today, Navapolatsk has become the only town in the country where the authorities gave the permission for holding the pickets in support of the former presidential candidate and present political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin.

The action is to be held on Saturday, 28 June near the builders’ Palace. The picket was applied for by the left –wing forces representatives and the”Maladaya Granmada” (Young Community).According to one of the picket organizers youth activist Igar Valyayau, among the guests coming for the action are to be guys and girls from different towns and cities of the region and the republic. Volga Kazulina, political prisoner’s daughter, promised to come and participate in the action.
The corresponding posters and street banners have been prepared for the picket. It is to be held under the banners of the Belarusian social democratic party (Gramada).
