The organizing committee of the ”Young Front” public organization lodged a claim to the Minsk city court on 2 August.

As the Young Front activist Baris Garetsky reported to the BelaPAN, the claim runs about the necessity of registration of the Young Front in compliance with the law on public associations.
Garetsky supposes that the trial is are to be held in September because the authorities are not eager to do it quicker. “We take the trial seriously and intend to succeed in the registration. We are ready to prove legally that nothing prevents our registration”, he declared.
Thus, according to Radio Ratsia the Young Front activists are still in the process of registration and may legally speak in the name of organization.
It is to be mentioned that 10 July the department of justice refused the Young Front’s registration. According to B. Garetsky, the officials didn’t like that among the methods of activities the mass actions were named.
