Minister of the interior of Belarus Lieutenant General Uladzimir Naumau expects amnesty to be announced this year in Belarus.
“Early this year we have forwarded the initiative on committing the amnesty and did a considerable work in this direction. But other government bodies which also participate in the work gave their suggestions but didn’t cope with their coordination before the beginning of the last session of the “house of representatives”, Uladzimir Naumau declared at the on-line conference at the site of the first national TV channel in Minsk on Thursday.
“I believe that by the time of the autumn-winter session of the ““house of representatives” all this issues will be coordinated, submitted for discussion and the amnesty will be committed”, the minister added.
