The 2007 rating of bankrupt countries published in the American periodical “Foreign Policy” was dwelt upon by the mass media.
Moldova was ranked as the most unstable state in Europe. On the whole there are 60 countries in the rating. They were selected on the basis of 12 political, military and social indicators. Moldova took the 48th place in the rating leaving behind the other European countries. The most unfavorable situation was admitted in the “emigration of population” and “legitimacy of the state” sections.
Belarus took the 51st place and Georgia. Among the most unstable countries of the world are also Sudan Iraq and Somali.
