Citizens of Belarus living in the USA met with the US senator for the Delaware state and US presidential candidate Joe Biden. He is known to Belarusians primarily for his being among the first to support the Act “On Democracy in Belarus”. The meeting happened at the presentation of the senator’s book “Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics “. Everybody could receive the autograph of the might-be president of the USA.
According to the well known internet figure dzed_baradzed who currently resides in the USA, when signing the book for him Joe Biden also wrote “For Belarus Freedom!”The Belarusian, in his turn, handed in the CD with the “Ploscha” documentary on the event in Minsk during the presidential election 2006 and the new album of the Belarusian group ”Krambambulya” to the senator.
