Former defense minister of Republic of Belarus: Lukashenka is not interested in deployment of Russian nuclear weapons
15:26, 27/08/2007

“It is very hard to comment on the Russian ambassador’s declaration. I do not know what Mr.Surikov is grounded by. T he relations between Russia and Belarus have the negative development trend. The disintegration processes have become obvious. I believe that Lukashenka despite of his former regrets about the nuclear missiles withdrawal is not interested in deployment Russian nuclear weapons”, former defense minister of Republic of Belarus Pavel Kazlousky reported to the Charter’97 press service commenting on the declaration of Aleksandr Surikov, Russian ambassador to Belarus, on might-be deployment of the Russian nuclear-related objects in Belarus.
