NEWS  15 persons detained near court in Salihorsk. People were beaten 12:29, 04/09/2007 Today 15 opposition activists have been detained today near the building of Salihorsk regional court where the trial over Young Front activist Ivan Shyla had started. The Charter’97 press-center has been informed about that by a young leader Paval Sevyarynets. As said by him, more than 50 activists gathered near the court to express support to Ivan Shyla. They were holding a streamer “They won’t stop Young Front”. They chanted: “Free Ivan Shyla!” and “Long live Belarus!” The detention was carried out by riot police regiment. Franak Vyachorka, Zmitser Fedaruk, Katsyaryna Halitskaya, Liudmila Atakulava and others are detained. Many people are cruelly beaten up, Paval Sevyarynets informed.
