The court trials of 9 youth activists finished in Saligorsk. They were detained yesterday near the court building during the youth activist Ivan Shila’s trial and spent the night at the remand jail in Saligorsk. The reports of their violation of the Article 23.34 (violation of organization and holding of public actions) were made.
Today 5 base rate penalties were handed down to Viktar Dzenisevich and Kasya Galitskaya by Judge Burautsau. As the “Vyasna’ human rights center informed, Zmitser Yasevich was warned and Zmitser Karnou penalized with 5 base rates and Tatstsyana Bulanava –with 4 base rates.
Franak Vyachorka and Zmitser Fedaruk were also penalized with 5 base rates.
Sentences to Ales Kalita and Ludmila Atakulava were the toughest- 7 nights of the administrative arrest.
