Speaker of the “house of representatives” of the “national assembly” Uladzimir Kanaplyou applied for resignation. The reasons for resignation of the officials who for many years had been among the state authorities are unknown. As the Interfax learnt from the parliamentarian sources U. Kanaplyou explained the decision by his sate of health.
U. Kanaplyou’s application for his ahead- of- schedule resignation for the state of health reason was submitted to the “house of representatives” of the ”national assembly”. It is mentioned in the application that U. Kanaplyou’s current state of health makes it impossible for him to continue functioning at the present level.
The application is to be put on the agenda of the forthcoming session of the “house of representatives” of the “national assembly” for decision-making. The session is due 2 October.
The election of the new chairman for the “house of representatives” is to be decided by the “deputies”.
