Lukashenka: «We are ready to cooperate with the rich» 12:11, 21/09/2007
Aliaksandar Lukashenka said private business should be engaged in building of sporting facilities in the country. “There are many rich people in the country, and we must ask them to take part in construction of modern sport facilities,” Aliaksandar Lukashenka said during a visit to the Misnk water sport complex based on the municipal center of Olympics reserve of water sports.
“We are ready to cooperate with them (businessmen), and they, in their turn, must support the sport,” the head of state emphasized.
In general Aliaksandar Lukashenka was pleased with the sport complex and the sport opportunities provided there. “There are no more the problems with swimming we used to have,” the head of state said.
