According to the Ukrainian security services, members of illegal military formations often have weapons and explosives with them.

Belarus becomes a transit country via which militants from the Donbass reach Ukraine. The State Border Service of Ukraine has officially informed about the detention of two separatists on the Belarusian-Ukrainian border.

During the examination of documents at the border crossing point "Prykladniki", located on the border between Rivne and Brest regions, Ukrainian border guards detained two citizens of Ukraine, who had no passports, but only "Certificates of Return". The detainees were acting suspiciously, so it was decided to involve Security Service of Ukraine in the examination. The analysis of the database revealed that both Ukrainian citizens were born in Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and that they had fought there on the side of the illegal armed groups. One of them even had a photo, on which he was posing holding arms in front of armored vehicles with emblems of the self-proclaimed "Novorossia".

It was not possible for the trespassers to reach Ukraine via the demarcation line in the Donbass, therefore, they had chosen quite a long way: from Donetsk to Russia first, then, taking advantage of the absence of border between Belarus and Russia, to the South of Belarus and Ukraine. The both trespassers were detained.

According to the Ukrainian security services, members of illegal military formations often have weapons and explosives with them. Thus, the weapons from separatist regions of Ukraine can get to Belarus from Russia.
