A Killed DPR's Commander Turns to Be a Mahilyeu Dweller

53

A "lieutenant colonel of DPR" Jauhen Kanonau was unlikely shot by a sniper, but died in the result of internal conflicts between terrorists.

Russian mass media have recently informed about the murder of Jauhen Kanonau (nom-de-guerre "Cat") committed by a sniper. Belarusian Partisan is informed that the killed man lived in Mahilyeu and left for war in Ukraine in May, 2014.

His friends used to call him Cat. He lived with his mother. She worked as commercial director at the reclamation plant in the 90s.

After the service in the army he got an early marriage and have two daughters. Later he was convicted for plunder. After the release he left for Moscow, worked at a construction site. But he robbed someone there too and was repeatedly imprisoned. Then he found himself in Donetsk.

On his profile on OK.ru (nickname "111111111") his friends called him to come back home, but he replied "Now my homeland is DPR." In Donetsk he met a woman and started a new family. His son was born in August 2015.

This is not the first case of death of citizens of Belarus who wage war on the side of "DPR/LPR". Last April Siarhei Stsiabikhau, Asipovichy dweller, was killed.
