The demand for Belarusian products is falling in the territory of the Customs Union.

As a result, many companies send workers on forced vacations.

Employees of Brest companies reported that to website charter97.org.

“They are going to stop the plant ”Brestgazaapparat” and to send the workers on unpaid leave. The reason is the decline in demand for the products and the almost complete lack of sales in the territory of the Customs Union”, – the author of the letter said.

According to him, the plant “Brestselmash” has been stopped. Its workers are still on unpaid leave.

“What about the people who need to feed their families? What is wrong with our economy? What's wrong with our country?“ – he asks.

Charter97.org website turned to an employee of the personnel department of the plant “Brestgazaapparat” to comment on the information about forced vacations. She questioned the journalist about the author of the letter and then she said: “Everything is all right at the factory.”

In December local newspaper Brest Kurjer reported that the plant “Brestselmash” had moved to a three-day work schedule.
