Why Authorities Fear Catholic Priest More Than Four Thousand Wagons Of Russian Army?

Although this question might seem absurd and weird, it has a right to be asked nevertheless.

Catholic priest from Rasony Viachaslau Barok writes about it in the “Krynica” media outlet.

The case of over four thousand wagons filled with weapons, military equipment and soldiers of the Russian army entering our country next year seems more or less clear. Officially, they plan mutual military trainings. Non-officially, every thinking Belarusian who knows the history of their country clearly understands that the Russian army has nothing to do in Belarus, let alone in such numbers. It will bring nothing good. Nevertheless, if the Russian side provides information that this will happen, I think the Belarusian side has already approved that or will do it later. In any case, there has been no official reaction so far from the side of the Belarusian authorities that the relocation of the Russian army to Belarus is undesirable. Which means, there is the silent consent. And yet nobody sees any threat to the national security in that.

As for the Jesuit, this is quite a different story. There is a certain Jesuit, a citizen of Russia, who lives in Vitsebsk, has a permanent residence permit in Belarus, has lived here for a year and cannot obtain the permit for the religious activity from the secular authorities.

So, here comes the question: how can this one Jesuit possibly harm our country if he starts carrying out masses in the Catholic Church? I have no answer to this question.

I think that the very fact that secular authorities decide who can serve in the Church and who cannot already breaks the international norms and interferes into the internal affairs of the Church. Certainly I do not object if corresponding services monitor a priest’s activity (hmm… this is very well done without asking me), or if there are violations of the state laws and it therefore jeopardizes the state security, such activity can be and should be suspended. However, just like that, refusing to allow the religious activity of a priest with no explanations – excuse me, this is what we call lawlessness.

Of course we can assume the competent authorities know what they are doing… Maybe they do, however, I still have a question – do those competent officials who take such decisions think of our common home – Belarus? I doubt it… Since, how else…

Generally, weird things started happening in our own eyes recently. The chain of events looks approximately like this. They announce invasion of the Russian army next year, and carry out the informational war already this year. The “herald” of the Russian world Vladimir Solovyov comes to Minsk. Adherent of the Russian world, Russian orthodox priest from near Minsk promotes the gammadion. Another orthodox priest approves the murder of eight Catholic priests at the “scientific” conference, organized by the Russian Orthodox Church…

Just see, all those ideologists and officials authorized to handle religious affairs keep silence to all this … it’s so quiet… everything’s wonderful…

And here comes the Jesuit from Russia – no way!!!

So, there is an impression that even the four wagons filled with the Russian soldiers, the priest with a gammadion and the orthodox fake scientists of the Russian world remain not so scary and dangerous for Belarus, as one Jesuit in Vitsebsk.

To sum it up, I would like to ask, whether those top-ranked competent officials, authorized to handle ratification of priests have forgotten that Pope Frances is also a Jesuit… and he was invited to Belarus, by the president himself. However, the Pope is unlikely to come now, as his activity will not be ratified by the corresponding institutions.

I get an impression that not all competent officials work for the good of Belarus, and I cannot say the same about the Jesuit from Vitsebsk. He works.
