The concert of the band WZ-orkiestra was unexpectedly abolished after it had been coordinated with the authorities and the organizers started selling tickets.

Following the concerts of the projects of Siarhei Mikhalok and the “People’s Album”, the organizers of Zmitser Vaitsiushkevich and WZ-Orkiestra’s concert obtained the touring permit. The event was scheduled on January 8 in the concert hall “Atlant” in Minsk. The advertising campaign and tickets selling started last week.

The performer felt very optimistic and expressed hope in a comment to tuzin.fm that this thaw was for real and for long. The musicians of the WZ-orkiestra prepared a large-scale program which was meant to include the best Zmitser’s songs — from the album “The Toyshop” to “The Comet”, which was named album of the month at tuzin.fm in November.

However, on December 7, the tickets sales were suspended and the concert bill was marked “abolished”. Organizer of the concert Viachaslau Hulevich informed that they were unexpectedly denied in rental of the venue, regardless of the previous agreement and the obtained touring permit. As the administration of the concert hall “Atlant” clarified, there appeared insuperable obstacles — the plant “Atlant” closed for the winter vacation till January 16, 2017, so it appeared impossible to cater this event.

Since 2010, Zmitser Vaitsiushkevich has been deprived of an opportunity to perform in Belarus legally. His concerts all around Belarus get disrupted under different reasons.
