Investigative Committee: Berazhkou And Subotkin Could Receive Pardon

The former top managers of the HC Dinamo Minsk, accused of abuse of power and theft of funds, could receive pardon.

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Belarus Ivan Naskevich informed journalists about that in Brest on February 5, Nasha Niva reports.

Previously, the website charter97.org reported, that on August 14 it became known about the detention of acting director general of the Minsk club Uladzimir Berazhkou. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Article 210 Part 3 of the Criminal Code of Belarus. At the beginning Berazhkou was suspected of theft of the club’s funds through power abuse in the sum of not less than Br45 million ($ 2 800).

Also, criminal charges were brought against director general of the club Maxim Subotkin. He was suspected of inflicting damage on an especially large scale.

Chairman of the Federation of hockey Ihar Rachkouski told about a conflict between Uladzimir Berazhkou and the head coach of the team Liubamir Pakovich, who had been dismissed in October 2015.
