Lukashenka: If We Quit Drinking, Other Disaster Will Happen

Aliaksandr Lukashenka urges Belarusians to quit drinking alcohol, but not completely.

“It’s important to build healthy behaviors in population. Starting with food and quitting smoking and drinking alcohol. But not completely, of course. Or else we quit drinking and other disaster will happen”, – Lukashenka announced in his annual message on Thursday.

"But smoking is a real madness," – he added.

Lukashenka stressed that a healthy nation is the foundation of any strong state.
