Traffic Police Detained Drunk Driver By Shooting At Wheels In Luninets District

A driver of a Chrysler Grand Voyager was running away from the traffic police for forty minutes.

On May 10 traffic police signaled the driver of a Chrysler Grand Voyager to stop the car near the village Sinkevichy in Luninets district. However, he ignored the demands of the inspectors and hit the gas, gaibrest.by informs.

The race lasted in the streets at night for forty minutes, and the 23-year-old driver of the Chrysler tried to get away from the chase, even driving on the wrong side of the road. To stop the inadequate scorcher, inspectors had to use weapon. Having made a warning shot into the air, they then hit the back wheel of the car and forced the driver to stop.

The violator, who was in the car alone, was taken for examination in a medical institution. As expected, the doctors concluded that he was drunk. By the way, the year before last the scorcher was already deprived of the right to drive a vehicle under Part 1 of the Article 18.16 of the Administrative Code of Belarus.
