Independent Trade Union Regains BYN 1600 In Worker’s Favor

The company “VentSpecMontazh” delayed the final settlement with its employee for 90 days and has to pay five times more now.

The lawyer of the REP Trade Union Yury Belyakou told praca-by.info about yet another victory, scored by the organization.

Ihar Kantsavenka was hired by the Additional Liability Company “ VentSpecMontazh” for the position of a maintenance technician in February 2015. Director Dzmitry Burak offered him a salary of Br 3,3 million (in the pre-denomination money).

The “ VentSpecMontazh” ALC was an official distributor of the ventilation and climate equipment, manufactured by Lessar and TOSOT, in the Republic of Belarus. They specialized in installation ready-to-operate systems of heating, ventilation and air conditioning for apartments, offices, stores, shopping centers and industrial buildings.

In August 2014, the workers of the “ VentSpecMontazh” ALC mounted air conditioning systems at the Minsk-1 airport for holding the racing festival “UNLIM 500+ Belarus”.

However, the things started going rough since September 2015, just like everywhere else. There were no orders. The company stopped paying the wages to the people.

Therefore, Ihar Kantsavenka quit the job of a maintenance technician on the basis of the mutual consent of the parties on February 2, 2016.

The company failed to make a final contract settlement with the ex-employee upon his dismissal. He addressed us asking for help, - the trade union lawyer said.

Yury Belyakou made a primary allegation demanding that the organization should pay the salary for January 2016, make the final settlement for February 2016, and pay the amount of an average salary for the delay of the final settlement upon dismissal on the day of judgment.

Before the court trial, the company had made the final settlement with the ex-em.
